Ravi Kishan Demands Strictest Punishment for NEET Paper Leak Accused
BJP MP and actor Ravi Kishan on Tuesday said the strictest punishment should be meted out to those arrested in the NEET paper leak case and that tough legal action was needed to safeguard students and restore faith in India’s examination system.
The comments came after the NDA Parliamentary Party meeting and as the probe into the alleged leak continues.
Action should be the hardest.
Talking to reporters, Ravi Kishan said the culprits in the NEET paper leak case should be awarded the harshest punishment as per law.
“You can’t play around with those crimes. The people playing with the future of students should be punished in a way that sets an example," he said.
Prioritise students' futures and exam integrity
The MP from Gorakhpur said, “The sanctity of the competitive examinations has to be maintained.
“Strict action will send out a clear message that no one will be allowed to play with the hard work of lakhs of students appearing for NEET every year,” he said.
“Fairness in exams is the basis of trust in our education system," added Kishan.
Investigation ongoing
The probe into the NEET paper leak case is on. Authorities have already arrested several suspects and are working to uncover the network behind the leak and gather more evidence.
Demands more protections
The case has sparked a national debate over exam security and transparency.
Meanwhile, political leaders and education experts have urged the government to establish better safeguards to prevent paper leaks and ensure accountability for future exams.
