Ram Temple Trust Delays Key Appointments, CEO and Three Governing Members to Be Chosen Later

The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has decided to postpone the appointment of its new chief executive officer (CEO) and three members to its governing body. The decision was taken during the trust's latest meeting in Ayodhya, with officials stating that the appointments will be made after further consultations and due consideration.

Appointments Deferred

The trust was expected to finalise the appointment of a new CEO following administrative changes, along with filling three vacant positions in its governing body. However, members decided to delay the process, saying more time was needed to evaluate candidates and complete internal discussions before making the appointments.

Routine Administrative Decision

Trust officials clarified that the postponement is purely administrative and does not affect the day-to-day functioning of the Ram Temple. Construction work, temple management and arrangements for devotees will continue as scheduled. The trust said all ongoing projects and operational responsibilities remain unaffected by the delay.

The Ram Mandir in Ayodhya continues to witness a large number of devotees every day following the consecration ceremony earlier this year. Development works around the temple complex, including infrastructure and visitor facilities, are progressing according to plan. Trust members reiterated their commitment to ensuring smooth management of the temple and its associated projects.

New Date Yet to Be Announced

The trust has not announced a fresh timeline for the appointments. Officials said the CEO and governing body members will be selected once consultations are complete and a consensus is reached. Further details are expected to be shared after the next meeting of the trust.

The postponement has drawn attention as the trust oversees one of India's most significant religious institutions, with responsibilities ranging from temple administration to infrastructure development and pilgrim management.
