Rahul Gandhi Steps Up Attack on Government Over Paper Leak Controversy

He made the comments hours after the Prime Minister announced new steps to deal with irregularities in competitive exams.

Gandhi, in an X post, called for the dismissal of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, action against individuals accused of attacking protesting students and a public apology to the students impacted by paper leaks.

“Students deserve justice, not excuses,” he wrote. “Those responsible must be brought to justice.”

Reforms defended by the government
The Centre responded by reaffirming its reform agenda. Officials said the government is pursuing proposals for fast-track courts, tougher laws and better security for exam materials. 

They said the measures would stop future leaks and restore confidence in the system.
