Pune Fort Murder Case: Siya Taken to Scene of Crime

A senior Pune Rural Police officer said that Siya was taken to Lohagad Fort, where she and Chetan Chaudhary are accused of pushing Agarwal to his death. Police said Chetan will also be taken to the fort separately as part of the investigation.

The officer added that a dummy was used to depict the victim in recreating the crime scene.

During the reconstruction, the police made Goyal retrace their movements from the time they reached the fort, identify the route they took, point out the exact location where Agarwal was allegedly pushed, and explain the sequence of events before and after the incident.

Investigators said the exercise was aimed at corroborating statements made by the accused with physical evidence, CCTV footage, and other material collected during the probe, while also helping establish the sequence of events for the prosecution

The crime scene visit is an important step in the investigation. Officers are checking the sequence of events and comparing the statements given by the accused with the evidence collected so far.

Police said the investigation is still ongoing, and more details are expected after the crime scene reconstruction is completed.
