Madhya Pradesh Couple's Marital Dispute Reaches Court Amid Serious Allegations

Marriage followed by a fight
The couple met on social media and married in 2022, according to court documents. They lived together in Bhopal at first. 

Differences developed over time. Her husband moved for a divorce, and the matter is sub judice in a family court.

Serious charges levelled 
The husband has said his wife moved out of the house after he was diagnosed with a serious illness. He also alleges that she married someone else while the divorce case was still pending.

These are allegations in the petition and have not been proven in court. The wife has not yet made a full response in court.

In front of the court 
The woman is said to have not appeared before a court, and directions have been issued by the court. Legal notices have been served and the next hearing is scheduled for later this month.

The court has asked both parties to submit relevant documents, including marriage records and proof related to the claims.

The investigation served; legal process remain ongoing
Officials said no final decision was made. The matter will go through the family law courts, and each side will be able to present evidence.

Legal experts say that when a second marriage is alleged during the course of a divorce, the court will consider timelines, documents and intent before making any determination.
