Food Safety Team Conducts Surprise Inspection
The raid was carried out following consumer complaints about poor hygiene and possible adulteration. 

During the inspection, officials found the factory operating in unsanitary conditions. Food was reportedly being prepared without proper cleanliness measures, raising serious concerns about the quality of products being sent to the market.

Around 200 Kg of Soya Chaap Destroyed 
Authorities seized nearly 200 kilograms of suspected adulterated soya chaap. The stock was destroyed immediately to prevent it from reaching consumers.

Samples were also collected and sent to a laboratory for testing to check if the products met safety standards.

Concerns Over Consumer Health 
Health experts say consuming contaminated or adulterated food can lead to stomach infections, food poisoning, and other illnesses. 

The incident has highlighted why regular inspections of food manufacturing units are important to ensure public safety.

Authorities Continue Investigation  
The Food Safety Department said further action will be taken based on lab reports and food safety regulations. 

Officials have also urged people to buy food only from licensed and trusted vendors and to report any suspicious products.
