Fire Breaks Out Inside Gurugram-Dwarka Airport Tunnel, Traffic Disrupted; No Injuries Reported

Panic as vehicle fire breaks out in tunnel
The incident was inside the Airport Tunnel, where a vehicle was said to have caught fire. 

The tunnel was full of thick smoke, and the visibility was bad. The emergency alarms went off, and a few drivers pulled their cars to the side.

Automatic Safety System Activated
Officials say that the tunnel’s automatic fire safety system was activated immediately when the fire was detected. 

The system helped contain the flames until fire department personnel arrived on scene and extinguished the fire.

Impacted Traffic Flow
The Gurugram-Dwarka Motorway was closed for a short time due to the fire. Traffic was diverted to alternative routes, and queues built up inside and outside the tunnel. 

The fire was brought under control, the tunnel cleared, and traffic was gradually restored.

No one got hurt. Investigation is ongoing
There were no injuries or deaths in the incident, authorities said. 

Officials are now looking into what caused the fire and checking for any damage to the tunnel infrastructure before normal traffic flow resumes.
