CJP Calls for Parliament March on July 20, Urges Students and Parents to Join Nationwide Protest
The Chhatra Jatiya Parishad (CJP) has announced a Parliament march on July 20, urging students, parents, and teachers to join the nationwide protest. The organisation says the demonstration will highlight education-related concerns, recruitment delays, and youth unemployment. The student wing of the Trinamool Congress (TMC), Chhatra Jatiya Parishad (CJP), announced a massive march to Parliament on July 20. It has called upon students, parents, teachers and citizens across the country to join the march. The organisation said the protest was to raise awareness about the problems faced by students and the education sector and to demand more accountability from the Central government.
The CJP leaders said the march will highlight issues including alleged irregularities in education, rising unemployment among youth and the need for stronger policies for the future of students. The 20 July march would provide people with a platform to raise these concerns with the nation's lawmakers, it said.
Preparations for the protest are already underway with CJP units in different districts mobilising volunteers and arranging transport for participants headed to the national capital. Party workers also need to conduct awareness campaigns in the educational institutions and local communities before the event.
