Anant Ambani recently visited the Tirumala Tirupati Temple, one of the most frequented pilgrimage sites in the country. As a part of the temple ritual, he gave his hair as a sign of trust and devotion before seeking the blessings of Lord Venkateswara.

Reliance Announces Major Donation
During the visit, Reliance Industries stated it will contribute 25 electric buses worth ₹27.5 crore to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD). The buses will be utilised to transport pilgrims within the temple grounds, making travel easy and eco-friendly.

Support Beyond the Buses
The corporation is also picking up the tab for 50 bus drivers who will operate the new buses. Reliance will also help build up EV charging stations so that the buses can run smoothly without causing hardship to the pilgrims.

Better Facilities for Devotees
The move is likely to bring in better transportation networks for the thousands of devotees who visit Tirumala every day. The electric buses will assist to decrease pollution and make travel safer, smoother, and more comfortable for the pilgrims.
