The probe into the alleged murder of Pune realtor Ketan Agarwal took another dramatic turn after the prime accused, Siya Goyal, allegedly made obscene gestures, including showing the middle finger, while accompanying police during a search operation at her residence.

The incident happened when Pune Rural Police took Siya to her home in the Market Yard area of Pune on Thursday to collect clothes she is believed to have worn on the day Ketan was allegedly killed at Lohagad Fort.

Police Recover Key Evidence

Officers executed a search warrant on Siya’s home and recovered clothing, which they believe may be linked to the murder case.

The items recovered are set to be sent for forensic examination to see if they have any evidence that can strengthen the prosecution case. The recovery forms part of a broader police investigation to piece together the events leading to the death of Ketan Agarwal.

Police officials said Siya was aggressive during the search operation.

While officers took her to and from the house, she was reported to have shown the middle finger and other obscene gestures to onlookers and media persons gathered outside the house. The incident soon caught the public interest and added another controversial chapter to the already high-profile murder case.

The case is related to the death of 26-year-old realtor Ketan Agarwal, who was allegedly pushed to his death from Lohagad Fort near Pune.

Police have claimed that Siya Goyal and her alleged accomplice, Chetan Chaudhary, had plotted the murder of Ketan for a few weeks. The pair practised the alleged murder before carrying it out, investigators say, and are still collecting digital, forensic and physical evidence.

Police await the results of forensic tests on clothing and other evidence gathered during the investigation. The authorities are carrying out further forensic investigations, including digital evidence, before filing a comprehensive chargesheet.

The accused are still under investigation, and the allegations against them will be put to the test in court in due course.
