School Dispute in Gujarat Escalates Into Alleged Roadside Assault on Two Sisters; Couple Arrested

Police say the accused's family located the sisters following a July 15 fight at school.

School argument ends in roadside brawl
Police in Ankleshwar said trouble began with a scuffle between two students of a local school. 

On the same day, Sanskriti and Aakriti, sisters, were going on a scooter to tuition classes when a car allegedly came in their way. The confrontation turned physical, authorities said.

Bat and Slipper Assault Allegations
The complaint said the father accused of hitting his daughter with a cricket bat had given her the weapon to hit the sisters. The mother and grandmother, who were also charged, reportedly joined in and hit them with slippers before the family left the scene.

The police said the sisters were injured in their heads, shoulders and legs. They were taken to hospital after the incident.

People were arrested, and CCTV was looked at
Investigators said the family then stalked the sisters to their home and then to the road after the sisters accused them. 

Based on the preliminary evidence collected and by scanning the CCTV footage from the area, the police have arrested the alleged main accused couple. 

The senior officer said the investigation was ongoing and further arrests could not be ruled out. Witnesses are being interviewed and evidence collected to establish the full circumstances.

Being Investigated
Police said they are investigating all aspects of the case, including the involvement of other family members named in the complaint.

The incident has become a hot topic in Ankleshwar, and locals demanded stern action against the accused. Authorities have warned against taking the law into their own hands over school disputes.

The case has been registered, and further investigation is going on.
