Prime Day 2026: Amazon Offers Up to 80% Off on Electronics, Fashion and More

This year, Amazon is going all out for Prime Day with a huge three-day shopping extravaganza in India, to be held from July 4 to July 6. Celebrating ten years of Prime in the country, the site is offering massive discounts of as high as 80% off – the best excuse to finally clear out that loaded wishlist.

The mayhem kicks off at midnight July 4 with more than 500 new product launches, hourly lightning deals, extra bank discounts and trade-in price cuts on pretty much anything you can think of.

Great Deals on Electronics, Apparel and Home Appliances

If you’ve been dying to upgrade your living room setup or totally swap out your wardrobe, this sale is packing some serious heat:

Gadgets & Wearables: Here’s where the huge 80% discount is. You can expect deep cuts on smartwatches, wireless earbuds and tablets, with savings of up to 40% on flagship laptops and newer smartphones such as the OnePlus Nord 6 and iQOO 15R.

Smart TVs: Samsung, Sony, and LG slash prices of large screens by up to 65% And to make the deal sweeter, Amazon is offering more collectable coupons worth up to ₹5,000 off at the time of checkout.

Daily Essentials & Local Brands Everyday household items and groceries are up to 60% off. Amazon is also promoting local Indian small businesses and creators with discounts of up to 70% on more than two lakh unique products.

And stack even more savings by using SBI or Axis Bank cards to get an instant 10% discount at checkout. And if you are using an Amazon Pay ICICI credit card, you will clip another 5% cashback on top of the sale price.

No more endless scrolling: Get AI to do the work

With thousands of deals dropping at once, it can feel totally overwhelming to find the good stuff. To address this, Amazon is rolling out a couple of new smart tools built directly into the app.

First is Rufus, a conversational AI assistant that lives right in the search bar. You don’t have to spend an hour reading through pages of user reviews; you can just type or speak to it naturally. You can ask it things like, "What are the best mobile deals going on right now?" Or tell it to compare the battery life of two different laptops, and it will give you a quick summary.

Then there’s Lens AI, which handles visual searches. If you see a cool pair of trainers or a sleek backpack out and about, you can just snap a picture or upload a screenshot. The app will instantly find the exact item or show the cheapest similar alternative on sale. And now, with AI-powered review summaries that distil thousands of customer rants and raves into short bullet points, you can basically skip the guesswork and check out in a few taps.
