After years of hiatus, one of the most loved celebrity talk-shows of Indian television ‘Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai’ is all set for a much-awaited comeback. The much loved show that is remembered for its emotional storytelling and heartfelt conversations with celebrities will be back in a refreshed avatar on ZEE5. This time it is acclaimed actor R Madhavan who will host the show in place of the late and much loved Farooq Shaikh.
A Classic Revisited for a New Generation
Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai, which premiered in 2002, was soon one of India’s most popular talk shows. The show was not like the usual celebrity interviews; it was more about the personal journeys of the guests, their struggles, achievements, and inspiring life stories.

It is a big responsibility to step into Farooq Shaikh’s shoes and R Madhavan has said he is “excited and grateful” for the chance. Calling the show a classic for all times, the actor said he hopes to pay a tribute to Farooq Shaikh’s legacy while making meaningful conversations with a fresh perspective.
The series will see Madhavan, known for his calmness, intelligence and conversational style, adding his own charm while retaining its emotional depth.

The reboot titled ‘Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai 2.0’ will premiere exclusively on ZEE5. The streaming platform has confirmed the show will return but details on the premiere date and celebrity guest line-up are expected to be announced soon.
