Vinny Arora Defends Dheeraj Dhoopar Amid Lock Upp 2 Chit Controversy

The trouble started when jailor Riteish Deshmukh objected to the alleged passing of notes to Dheeraj and questioned him about any help from outside.

Vinny broke her silence and said the decision to send the notes came from an emotional place. Dheeraj wasn't in the best of spirits before the shoot, and she wanted to cheer him up, she said.

“I admit it was a mistake,” Vinny said. "It was an emotional response." I just wanted to give him some strength because I could see he wasn’t okay.

I was watching the episodes, and I could feel he was unwell, so I was worried," she added.

He did not know Dheeraj 
Vinny said Dheeraj knew nothing about the chits. She said the notes were sent without his involvement and he did not know what was happening outside.

The actress further said that she takes full responsibility for the act and did not intend to create any controversy.

The clarification has drawn mixed reactions on the internet. Some fans were happy with Vinny’s honesty, while others said that the rules of reality shows should be strictly followed. 

Dheeraj himself has not spoken separately on the matter. The series is ongoing with the regular drama in the jail.
