Nothing Unveils Phone (4b) RCB Edition, Confirms Snapdragon Processor Ahead of July 7 Launch
Nothing about the limited-edition Phone (4b) RCB Edition has leaked ahead of its launch on July 7. The Phone (4b) will be Nothing’s first offering in its new ‘b’ series and will come with an exclusive RCB inspired design along with a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
Nothing is doing something completely different with its branding, and it’s definitely going to turn some heads.
The company is shifting away from its traditional clear and monochrome look and tapping into India’s massive cricket fandom to drop a highly exclusive collector’s item to celebrate its partnership with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB).
The Great Red Pivot
If you know nothing, you know that their whole identity is based on a very specific see-through industrial aesthetic. The Phone (4b) RCB Edition throws a wrench into that playbook.
Instead of the usual smoky grey or clear white, this limited edition variant comes in a bold styling that is RCB-inspired and mirrors the team's iconic look. They’ve even emblazoned the device with exclusive team branding to seal the deal. It still has the signature Glyph lighting system, but the structural look gets a huge dose of team spirit.
The Catch: How to Catch a Real One
You can’t just go online and add this version to a regular shopping cart if you want it. This will not be treated as an exclusive sneaker drop:
When: July 7. Gates open at 4:00 PM IST sharp.
Where: Exclusively at the Nothing Store, Bengaluru
The Fine Print: Flash sale for one day. Quantities are extremely limited and are strictly first-come, first-served. If you’re not physically in queue in Bengaluru, you’re likely out of luck.
The regular version of the phone will be released globally on the same day, where the company will break down all the final retail details.
What’s the new “b” series?
The phone (4b) is bringing a new tier for the company. The main flagship line is all about premium specs, but the 'b' series is supposed to be more accessible and budget-friendly. The aim is to bring Nothing’s clean software experience and unique hardware styling to a much wider audience without breaking the bank.
What’s Inside The Engine
The hype is all about the design, but the internal specs are shaping up to make this a very competitive mid-ranger. No word on an official Qualcomm Snapdragon processor for this tier yet, but it should mean a huge bump in battery life and performance on the daily.
On the outside, leaks and teasers show off a sharp 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, a decent dual rear camera setup and multiple storage options.
We’ll get final confirmation on pricing and exact specs when the curtain officially goes up on July 7 along with the new Ear (3a) budget wireless earbuds.
