• Firm Stance on Resignation: CJP spokespersons Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka reiterated that their core demand—the immediate resignation or dismissal of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan—remains completely non-negotiable.

• Call for Accountability and Compensation: The formal letter also presses for a ₹1 crore compensation package for the families of NEET aspirants who died by suicide due to examination stress, alongside the unconditional withdrawal of all FIRs filed against student demonstrators.

• Demand for Public Apology: Adding to the pressure, the CJP formally demanded a public apology from the central government, the Delhi Police Commissioner, and the head of the Rapid Action Force (RAF) for the heavy-handed police force used against peaceful students during the July 20 Parliament march.
