New Delhi, July 15 . Ahead of the Monsoon Session of Parliament, Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha, Mallikarjun Kharge, met Vice President and Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar today, emphasising the need for a productive session in the Upper House.
In a post shared on X, Kharge said, “The Opposition wants a productive Rajya Sabha session from July 21st. For that to happen, a number of strategic, political, foreign policy, and socio-economic issues that are of great public concern need to be debated and discussed.”
Describing the meeting as “fruitful,” Kharge said, “Today, I called on the Hon’ble Chairman of the Rajya Sabha and had a fruitful conversation.”
Notably, the Monsoon Session of Parliament is scheduled to commence on July 21 and will continue until August 21.
