RANCHI: Comparing the tenures of Hemant Soren and Raghubar Das as chief ministers of Jharkhand, BJP spokesperson Pratul Shahdeo said on Monday that while the former’s regime was a dark chapter of the state, the latter’s was filled with development stories and good governance.
Shahdeo while addressing a press conference at BJP headquarters here said the Raghubar Das-led BJP government has brought development in the state with the help of everyone. “Chief Minister Krishi Aashirvad Yojana has proved to be a boon for the farmers in which the an assistance of Rs. 5000 per acre is being sent directly to the their account. This amount is in addition to the scheme of the Central Government,” he said.
He said that Chief Minister Sukanya Yojana is for all round development of daughters. This is a unique scheme in which initiatives have been initiated to stop marriage at young age.
He said that for permanent solution to the problem of electricity in the state concrete initiatives were taken in the construction of new grid, transmission line, substation, in the final stage. He said that for the first time, the ST Commission and the Backward Classes Finance Development Corporation were formed to ensure the payment of insurance premiums to the farmers through Sakhi Mandal, the sisters of 17 lakh Sakhi Mandal.
